This is my favorite place in Israel — Judian Desert (midbar yehuda). It looks feminine, because of the soft curves of the hills and mountains. And it’s always so quiet. But although it’s only about one an a half hour drive from Tel Aviv, I visit there so rare… But then again, my grandma lives in a 15 minutes walking distance from me, and I visit her once a month. It’s because of that tricky path of habits and mechanical order of everyday actions, which is so hard to break sometimes.
