this work is inspired by theory of psychologist Alfred Adler. I studied a small course for parents, based on his theory, and it was impressively helpful.

This guy feels pity for himself and thinks that when he dies everybody will sorry and think only nice things about him. The little cynical animal symbolizing a doubt. The blue ball — that the world is a calm and beautiful place, although when you down it also can fall on you any moment.

…and something totally different. I’ll have to draw it again, because it came out not as I wanted to. Well, it comes out often not exactly what I planned, but here the whole idea is missing: I wanted to draw two pale blond geishas, not just ladies with blong hair :)

Added some new works to the website. I work on beautiful, almost transparent handmade paper made in Nepal. So this time I had to draw all the textures myself :)

I brought many beautiful books of old prints from China, and especially excited by their monsters and other magical creatures. Seriously thinking about studying Asian mythology…

Couple of posts ago there was a sketch for this work.
I’m very excited about chinese monsters, I bought all books with ancient illustrations I could find.
