December 28, 2007 / 00:35 Little Crater
For the first time in my life I went (with my family) to a Little Crater. I’ve been many times near the big one, Makhtesh Ramon, and always thought there is nothing that looks more as a moon for me. But the little one seems to be even more «a moon». Desert is so quiet. Good to be there sometimes…

November 1, 2007 / 01:43 how did it start![]() My love for miniature have started from these two paintings. I bought them in Rajasthan, have no idea who the artist is. I wanted to buy many pictures, but they were not cheap. When you travel as a backpacker, you know that buying something means less places to travel, worse hostel, and also place and weight in your luggage. So I’ve decided «I can draw miniatures for myself»…
November 1, 2007 / 01:26 so quiet![]() This is my favorite place in Israel — Judian Desert (midbar yehuda). It looks feminine, because of the soft curves of the hills and mountains. And it’s always so quiet. But although it’s only about one an a half hour drive from Tel Aviv, I visit there so rare… But then again, my grandma lives in a 15 minutes walking distance from me, and I visit her once a month. It’s because of that tricky path of habits and mechanical order of everyday actions, which is so hard to break sometimes.
October 30, 2007 / 22:00 Introduction
Good evening. Actually, I already have a livejournal, but it’s in Russian. Although Russians are everywhere it has not become an international language yet, so I decided to start another one in English. My English is not good enough, so I’m sorry in advance.
About myself: I was born in Minsk, where I went to art school. My best friend was Nadia, who went to a ballet school and now lives in Bulgaria. At the age of 14 I moved with my family to Israel. I took with me my dog Doris. In Israel I attended the Alon Art School. It was so boring that I couldn’t speak Hebrew and had no friends. I was happy to graduate. Then I spent 2 years in the army where I worked as a graphic designer in a strange place called Shifat, that encourage school kids to study Arabic. We were making computer games, internet sites and illustrated brochures. There served many smart and cool people, I am still keeping in touch with some of them. After the army I studied for 4 years in Bezalel, Art and Design Academy in Jerusalem. A cruel place to be, but it has a very good level of education. It taught me to cope with any kind of criticism. Now I work as a senior designer at BN Creative Branding Studio in Tel Aviv and an independent artist as well. I took a year vacation to travel in India and ![]() Страницы: 1 | 2
